Hello! Thank you for stopping by my blog. A little bit about myself…

Throughout the years I have been a Programmer, Developer, Software Developer, Software Engineer, Lead Developer, (and up and down the list) etc… I am not really sure what to answer when someone asks me what I do.

I have been in the field for over 25 years, in my early days I started out with Clipper and Dbase, then moved to FoxPro for few years, then Visual Basic came out, although I didn’t like it that much, but I assumed I should jump in the Microsoft wagon for a safe bet. I did pretty much all the versions of Visual Basic until Visual Studio.Net came out, I have been doing .Net ever since, almost 15 years later still in .Net. mostly C#

A few years ago, I decided it was time to start digging more into the javascript world, I created a couple of mobile apps with PhoneGap, got my feet wet with Jquery, but it was not until a couple of years ago when I really decided it was time for me to do a big change, so I change my job where I was mostly a Middle-Tier developer and started doing Full Stack development, focusing on AngularJS for the front end. At the begging I felt a little overwhelmed after so many years in the Microsoft world, I felt like fish out of the water, but I dogged my way thru, now I am back excited about the new frameworks coming out almost on a monthly bases. I still have a lot to learn, but I am way more comfortable now, programming on my Mac, command line, node packages, etc.

Nowadays my focus is with .netcore and Angular. I really enjoy staying up to date and sharing the little bit of knowledge I have, that way I feel I can help people to ease the pain of navigating the vast amount of frameworks to chose and also helps me stay up to date

This is me in a nutshell
